This issue is a side effect of the "Disable Autorun" option.
If you check the "Disable Autorun" option, PREDATOR will kill all Explorer processes to prevent anybody from autorunning malware on a specially crafted CD/DVD while your session is locked. Upon unlocking your session, PREDATOR will restart only the Explorer process to make your desktop visible again. On some computers, Windows does not restore the system tray properly.
There is no other solution than unchecking the PREDATOR's "Disable Autorun" option, and manually disable the Autorun functionality in Windows. Google "How to disable the Autorun functionality in Windows".
